Overview:

The History and Politics BA Foundation course at Lancaster University introduces students to the study of societies, political systems, historical change, and the forces that shape public life. It provides a foundation for examining how political ideas, institutions, events, and historical developments influence communities and the wider world.

Learning Outcomes:

Students will also be equipped to read academic material critically, identify and evaluate arguments, and communicate their ideas clearly in written and academic contexts. The course will support an informed understanding of how historical developments and political structures interact, while building the analytical and research abilities needed for further study in related humanities and social science subjects.

Requirements

Kuwait: Completion of High School / Shahadat Al-Thanawiya Al-A'ama (General Secondary Education Certificate) with a minimum overall average of 50% including a Mathematics score of 70%.
UKVI IELTS (Academic) 5.0 with no band below 4.5 (or approved SELT equivalent).
