Develop global teaching skills and language expertise with our hands-on TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of other Languages) and a Modern Language degree. You'll also have the chance to gain a professional qualification with the Trinity CertTESOL.
This teacher training degree programme is a blend of practical and theoretical modules with work-based learning opportunities. No prior teaching experience is required as we teach you what you need to know and do. Additional qualifications are offered within your degree. Combine Teaching English as a Second Language (TESOL) with one of the following languages:
- British Sign Language
- Chinese
- Japanese
- Korean
- Spanish
By the end of your degree, you will be at least a B2 level in your chosen language. This means you will be a confident speaker and be able to communicate effectively with native speakers.
You will have an exciting opportunity to go on a period abroad to improve your language and experience living there. Your degree is four years with a period abroad, or three years without.
