Overview

The BSc (Hons) Nursing (Adult) at Swansea University develops the knowledge, clinical skills and professional values required to provide safe and compassionate care for adults. The course combines nursing theory, evidence-based practice and practical learning to help students understand health, illness and the wider factors that influence patient well being.

Learning Outcomes

By the end of the course, students will be able to assess the health and care needs of adults and apply appropriate knowledge to plan, provide and evaluate person-centered nursing care. Students will develop clinical reasoning, communication and decision-making skills while working effectively with patients, families and multidisciplinary teams.
