Overview
The BSc (Hons) Computer Science (Cyber Security) at the University of Plymouth combines core computing with specialist study of protecting digital systems, networks and information. The course explores how security threats are identified and addressed while developing technical knowledge in areas including programming, networking, cryptography, digital forensics and ethical hacking.

Learning Outcomes

They will also be able to assess security information critically, conduct independent research and develop evidence-based solutions to technical challenges. The course further supports the ability to consider organisational, legal and ethical factors when managing information security and to communicate technical findings clearly to different audiences.
