Overview
The BSc (Hons) Data Science at Keele University combines mathematics, statistics, programming and computing to explore how complex datasets can be analysed and transformed into meaningful insights. Learning Outcomes
By the end of the course, students will be able to use mathematical, statistical and programming techniques to investigate complex datasets and solve data-focused problems. Students will develop the ability to prepare, analyse and interpret data, communicate findings through effective visualisation and assess the reliability and limitations of their conclusions. They will also gain an understanding of ethical, security and governance considerations associated with data and AI. The course develops systematic problem-solving, independent research and technical communication skills for analysing and presenting data-driven insights.
