Overview

The BSc (Hons) Nursing (Children's) at Keele University focuses on developing the knowledge and clinical skills needed to provide safe, compassionate care for children, young people and their families. Learning Outcomes

By the end of the course, students will be able to assess and respond to the health and care needs of children and young people using appropriate nursing knowledge and clinical skills. Students will develop effective communication, clinical reasoning and collaborative working skills while recognising professional, ethical and legal responsibilities. They will also be able to use research evidence to inform practice, reflect on their professional development and evaluate the effectiveness of nursing care. The course supports a holistic approach to children's nursing, with emphasis on respectful partnerships and care tailored to individual needs.
