Are you interested in how drugs are made? Are you fascinated by the human body and what happens in disease? Our BSc Pharmacology degree explores all this and more.
Staff are research-active and experts in the field. They are members of societies like the British Pharmacological Society, Biochemical Society, British Neuroscience Association and British Neuro-Oncology Society.
This is a practical-focused degree in pharmacology, exploring the action of drugs on the human body. You’ll study how the normal human body is affected by disease. You'll learn in detail how drugs affect normal function. And, you'll try to restore normal function in many pathological conditions.
With hands-on experience you’ll explore where drugs come from and how they are developed. Discover how drugs interact with and affect molecules, cells and whole organisms.
