Learning Outcomes
By the end of the course, students will be able to explain major psychological concepts and evaluate different approaches to understanding human behavior and mental processes. They will understand how biological, cognitive, developmental, social, and individual factors can interact to influence psychological outcomes. Students will be able to design or evaluate research studies, apply appropriate methods for collecting and analyzing data, and interpret findings using evidence-based reasoning. They will also develop the ability to assess psychological theories critically, recognize limitations in research evidence, and consider relevant ethical issues. Through academic and practical study, students will strengthen their ability to communicate psychological ideas clearly, solve research problems systematically, and use scientific evidence to develop informed conclusions about human behavior.
