Overview 

This foundation-level programme prepares students for progression into an undergraduate law degree, introducing the structure and principles of the English legal system. Delivered at the University of Leeds as part of the International Foundation Year, it builds core legal knowledge alongside academic study skills tailored to law and social studies. The programme gives students a grounding in legal reasoning and the foundational areas of law before they begin degree-level study.

Learning Outcomes

These outcomes will prepare graduates to enter the first year of an LLB Law degree with the legal knowledge and study discipline the programme requires.
