Overview
Artificial intelligence now sits at the forefront of technological change, and learning to build it responsibly requires both strong theoretical foundations and genuine hands-on practice. The BEng (Hons) Artificial Intelligence at the University of Bristol offers a genuinely interdisciplinary route into the subject, combining core AI principles and machine learning with the ethical, legal and societal questions the technology raises. Students engage directly with industrial partners across sectors such as pharmaceuticals, energy, motorsport and finance, supported by an industrial mentor from early in the course.
