Overview
Chemical engineers turn raw materials into the products and processes modern life depends on, from new medicines to low-carbon energy systems. The BEng (Hons) Chemical Engineering at the University of Birmingham builds a strong foundation in thermodynamics, reactors and heat and mass transfer, with teaching directly informed by the department's own cutting-edge research. Learning Outcomes
