Overview
Electronic and electrical systems sit behind nearly every modern technology, from communications networks to power distribution, and mastering them opens doors across a huge range of industries. The BEng (Hons) Electronic and Electrical Engineering at the University of Birmingham builds strong theoretical and practical skills, teaching students to design circuits, develop communications systems and understand how power networks operate. Students work in the state-of-the-art Collaborative Teaching Laboratory and Makerspace, collaborating with mechanical and civil engineers through Integrated Design Projects before specialising further. The course suits students who want a broad, IET-accredited engineering education with genuine flexibility to explore different branches of engineering before committing to a specialism.

Learning Outcomes
