The BSc (Hons) Computer Science course develops a broad understanding of computing concepts, technologies, and problem-solving methods. Students build the knowledge and practical thinking needed to understand how software and computer systems are designed, developed, evaluated, and applied to real-world challenges at Aston University.

Learning Outcomes

Students will also be able to evaluate computing approaches, interpret technical information, and apply structured problem-solving methods to unfamiliar challenges. The course provides a solid academic foundation for understanding contemporary computing and progressing to more specialised areas within computer science.
