Overview

Cyber threats now rank among the biggest challenges facing governments, industries and individuals alike, making the work of keeping digital systems safe genuinely groundbreaking. The BSc Computer Science (Cyber Security) at Royal Holloway, University of London covers all the essentials of application development, from programming and software engineering to databases, information security and artificial intelligence, before moving into advanced cyber security topics on a specialist pathway shaped around students' own career ambitions. Students work directly with leading researchers at the world-renowned Information Security Group, learning how to identify and prevent cyber threats, understand the legal and ethical context, and build security into systems from the ground up. Learning Outcomes

Requirements

Kuwait: High School / Shahadat Al-Thanawiya Al-A'ama (General Secondary Education Certificate) is not accepted for direct undergraduate entry. Completion of a recognized foundation course (or A-Levels / equivalent qualification) is required
UKVI IELTS (Academic) 6.5 overall with no band below 5.5 (or approved SELT equivalent)
Minimum overall average of 60% in the Foundation Programme required to progress to Year 1 of the Bachelor's degree
Completion of the English for Academic Purposes (EAP) / English Language Module within the Foundation Programme with a minimum score of 60% with no section below 40%
Minimum score of 65% in Mathematics in the Foundation Programme
