Computer networking underpins nearly every part of modern life, from smartphone apps to the secure systems that global businesses depend on, making the ability to defend and design these networks a genuinely valuable skill. The BSc (Hons) Computer Science (Cyber Security and Networks) at the University of Hertfordshire builds a broad computer science foundation before specialising in network protocols, security management and digital forensics, with teaching informed by real industry practice.
