Learning Outcomes
By the end of the course, students will be able to design, implement and evaluate software solutions using appropriate algorithms and data structures. They will understand how computer systems are architected and how networks and operating systems function together to support reliable computing. Graduates will be able to apply established development processes to build software professionally, working effectively within a team as well as independently. They will also be equipped to engage with advanced topics such as artificial intelligence and alternative programming paradigms, and will have demonstrated the ability to plan, execute and present a substantial technical project from concept through to completion.
