Course Description

Overview

BSc Psychology explores how people think, feel and behave, drawing on scientific approaches to understand human experience. The course introduces major areas of psychological research while developing the analytical and research skills needed to evaluate evidence and examine questions about behaviour.

Learning Outcomes

By the end of the course, students will be able to explain key psychological concepts and compare different perspectives on human thought and behaviour. They will be able to assess psychological evidence critically, identify appropriate research approaches and interpret findings using relevant methods. Students will also develop the ability to apply psychological knowledge to questions about behaviour, recognise the strengths and limitations of research evidence, and communicate conclusions clearly. Through engagement with different areas of psychology, they will gain a more integrated understanding of how biological, cognitive, developmental and social factors can contribute to human behaviour.

Requirements

Kuwait: Completion of High School / Shahadat Al-Thanawiya Al-A'ama (General Secondary Education Certificate) with a minimum overall average of 85%, including 80% in relevant science subject in final Year.
UKVI IELTS (Academic) 6.0 with no band below 5.5(or approved SELT equivalent).
Health, Life and Bioscience Pathway or STEM & Natural Sciences Pathway
Biology + Maths for Natural Sciences, Chemistry + Mathematics for Natural Sciences, Biology + Chemistry, Chemistry, Computer Science, Engineering and Biology
