Associated with The University of Sydney, this preparatory pathway equips students with essential scientific principles and academic capabilities required to analyze dietary health. Learners explore how chemistry, biological function, and food safety principles intersect to influence human growth, metabolism, and global food choices.

What You'll Learn

  • Core scientific fundamentals, including chemical bonding, reaction mechanisms, and molecular structures.

  • Key biological concepts, including human cell physiology, genetics, and metabolic processes.

  • Principles of core mathematics, statistical methods, and quantitative data processing.

  • Essential academic English skills, scientific report writing, and evidence-based argument analysis.

  • Basic concepts of food safety, nutritional needs across human life stages, and dietary health.

  • Research design methodologies, systematic evidence evaluation, and collaborative project execution.

Learning Outcomes

By completing this program, students will be able to apply quantitative and scientific principles to evaluate nutritional choices and biological phenomena. Participants will acquire the skills needed to execute basic laboratory procedures, process empirical data, and communicate scientific concepts through structured reports and presentations.
