Overview

The BSc (Hons) Psychology explores how people think, feel, behave, and interact, drawing on scientific approaches to understand human experience. Students examine psychological processes across different contexts while developing the research, analytical, and critical skills needed to evaluate evidence and understand behaviour.

Learning Outcomes

By the end of the course, students will be able to explain major psychological concepts, theories, and research findings and relate them to different aspects of human behaviour. They will understand how biological, cognitive, developmental, and social factors can interact to influence psychological processes. Students will be able to formulate research questions, select appropriate methods, analyse findings, and interpret psychological evidence using suitable approaches. They will also develop the ability to assess the strengths and limitations of theories and research studies, distinguish between different explanations of behaviour, and reach reasoned conclusions. The course will strengthen students' ability to communicate psychological ideas clearly and apply critical thinking when evaluating evidence about human thought, experience, and behaviour.

Requirements

Kuwait: Completion of High School / Shahadat Al-Thanawiya Al-A'ama (General Secondary Education Certificate) with a minimum overall average of 80%.
UKVI IELTS (Academic) 5.5 with no band below 5.5(or approved SELT equivalent).
