Overview
The BSc (Hons) Sport Science, Health and Nutrition at Nottingham Trent University combines scientific study of exercise, health, human physiology and nutrition. The foundation-level route introduces core scientific concepts and practical skills before progressing into the wider study of how physical activity, nutrition and behavior influence health and sporting performance.

Learning Outcomes
By the end of the course, students will be able to explain key physiological and biochemical processes relevant to exercise, health and nutrition. They will understand how physical activity affects the body and how nutrition can support health, training and sporting performance. Students will also be able to assess nutritional and exercise-related needs, apply appropriate scientific principles to practical situations, and evaluate evidence using suitable research approaches. The course will develop their ability to interpret information, communicate findings and connect theoretical knowledge with practical applications in sport, exercise and health.
