Overview:
Bournemouth University’s BSc (Hons) Cyber Security Management focuses on understanding how organisations can protect digital systems, information and services from cyber threats. The programme combines technical cybersecurity knowledge with management-oriented perspectives, helping students develop an understanding of how security can be planned, assessed and managed within computing environments.

Learning Outcomes:
By the end of the course, students will understand key concepts underpinning cyber security management and the challenges involved in protecting digital information and systems. They will be able to examine cyber security risks and consider appropriate approaches to managing security within an organisational context. Students will also develop an understanding of how technical computing knowledge connects with security management and decision-making. The course supports the development of analytical and problem-solving abilities relevant to evaluating cyber security issues and considering suitable responses. Through the foundation stage, students will also build the academic, subject and English-language skills required to progress into undergraduate study. Kaplan identifies Cyber Security Management BSc (Hons) as one of the degrees available for progression from its Computing Foundation Certificate at Bournemouth University.

Requirements

Kuwait: Completion of High School / Shahadat Al-Thanawiya Al-A'ama (General Secondary Education Certificate) with a minimum overall average of 60%, including Maths that is equivalent to the average academic grade
UKVI IELTS (Academic) 5.0 with no band below 4.5 (or approved SELT equivalent).
