Overview:
Bournemouth University’s BSc (Hons) Cyber Security with Digital Forensics focuses on protecting digital systems while examining cyber incidents and electronic evidence. The course brings together cybersecurity principles and digital forensic techniques, providing a foundation for understanding how digital threats can be identified, investigated and addressed.

Learning Outcomes: 
By the end of the course, students will have developed an understanding of fundamental cyber security concepts and how they relate to the protection of digital systems and information. They will be able to apply appropriate approaches to the investigation of digital incidents and understand the role of forensic analysis in examining digital evidence. Students will also develop the computing knowledge and analytical skills needed to engage with cyber security and digital forensics topics at undergraduate level. The programme provides an integrated understanding of both preventative security measures and investigative practices, helping students recognise the relationship between cyber threats, digital systems and forensic examination. The Computing Foundation route also supports progression into the degree by developing relevant academic, subject and English-language skills.

Requirements

Kuwait: Completion of High School / Shahadat Al-Thanawiya Al-A'ama (General Secondary Education Certificate) with a minimum overall average of 60%, including Maths that is equivalent to the average academic grade
UKVI IELTS (Academic) 5.0 with no band below 4.5 (or approved SELT equivalent).
