Occupational therapists enable individuals to overcome physical, sensory, cognitive, and psychosocial barriers, empowering them to participate fully in meaningful everyday activities and enhance their well-being. The Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (Honours) at La Trobe University delivers a comprehensive, practice-focused education that integrates human biosciences, occupational science, developmental psychology, and clinical intervention strategies. Taught within modern health science laboratories and specialized clinical simulation suites, the program prepares students to evaluate physical and mental health needs across the entire lifespan. The curriculum progresses from core anatomical foundations and public health principles to advanced enabling change modules addressing complex musculoskeletal, neurological, developmental, and mental health conditions.
